RESEARCH

Research is integral to the BAU Architecture project. BAU specializes in sustainability at the nexus of health, energy and technology. BAU research is a synergistic trans-disciplinary collaboration with academia and industry that brings together diverse specialists to establish new relationships between the built environment and health. The BAU objective is to discover innovative materials, to design alternative building assemblies, and to invent smart building systems that promote the health and wellbeing of building occupants while conserving energy.

The rigorous BAU research agenda includes funded research projects, professional and academic paper presentations at national and international conferences, peer-reviewed publications, and active participation in speculative design competitions.
